Letter from The Goddard School

Families of Somersett:

As of September 5, 2023, The Goddard School Somersett will be assuming the responsibility of the kids programming; before and after school care and off track camps as well as summer camps. Our program director, Kailey Daggitt, will oversee all programming for TCTC and Alyssa Anders (who was the TCTC Youth Program Coordinator for the last two years) will continue to operate as our coordinator. Alyssa will be on site every day at the after school program so you can connect with her at pick up. Both Kailey and I will be at TCTC in the mornings to oversee the before school program.

We will open before school at 7:00 am and will be responsible for getting our students on the bus for school in the morning. Our after school program will go from the time the bus drops our students off at Town Center until 6:00 pm. Again, this will begin on September 5, 2023. The cost for before school is $10 a day (same as last year) and for after school the cost is $25 a day ($5 more a day). If you enroll for after school care on Friday, October 20th thru Thursday October 26th, the cost will be $35 a day. The district will be having early release those days for parent/teacher conferences and students will be released at 1:00 that week. We will offer care from 1:30 to 6:00 pm that week.

We are also offering fall break camp, October 2nd to October 6th, with a Fall Ball Camp. Amazing Athletes will provide a three hour camp each morning which will include ten different sports. After lunch, we will spend the afternoon at our Technology Camp where we will be learning to code and playing with our robotics, build our computer skills with map testing practice and working on math and reading in our IPad game center. The cost of the camp is $275 for five full days and $200 for the morning only (8:00 am to 1:00 pm).

Lastly, we are offering an art camp for Veteran’s Day when the district is closed. We will open 7:00 am and will offer camp until 6:00 pm. More information to come.

Enrollment for these programs is now open and can be done on-line at our Boonli site. I have attached instructions on how to create a family account and then you can add your child(ren) by creating a profile for each one. Once completed, you can go into the menu items for September and enroll for before and/or after school for any day you would like. Your fees will be loaded in your cart as you select your days and you will pay for your attendance at that time.

Once you have signed up, I will reach out to you to discuss the final steps of enrolling. I will need additional forms completed to set up a file for your child. I will email them to you and you can drop them at The Town Center with Alyssa.
