How to Help Your Community

Would you like to contribute your talents and ideas to help your community? Here’s how to get started.

Attend a Board Meeting
The Board is the guiding body for the Association and all business is conducted in the monthly meetings. If you want to learn what’s going on, this is where to find out. Meetings are open to all residents and are also accessible via Zoom. To see when the next meeting is scheduled, go to the Events Calendar and choose Board and Committee Meetings from the drop-down menu. Board agendas, packets, and Zoom links are posted on the meeting dates once they are available.

Serve on a Committee
Committee work offers an inside look at how the association works, and committee members have a say in SOA affairs. The time commitment is not excessive - committees meet once a month or once a quarter for about an hour, depending on the agenda, plus there are committee projects to be completed between meetings.  Most of this work can be done at your convenience at home.
